So last week I spent the week in an JCA outdoor Center being a general activity instructor. I had honestly forgotten quite how longer hours outdoor center staff worked, but it was nice to kind of return to my ''roots'' for a few days. I had to make a swift exit on the friday, as I was guiding a welsh 3000ers challenge for Will4adventure. After a few hours sleep in the car I met the group at 3am, and shortly after the long day began. Despite the challenging weather on the Snowdon leg, the rest of the day was quite plesant, and enjoyable. Here's what team member Scott had to say:
The weather was a little on the windy side to say the least and the waterproofs got some good use but other than that it was a great day.
It was definitely the hardest thing any of the team members had done before but everyone gave it their best with 4 of the group (including myself) doing all the peaks.
The guides (Ross, Simon and James) were great and very professional as was Sarah who helped improve morale at each pit stop for breakfast/dinner.
